I've created an application that runs an external program using the system () command. It works very well, except every time it runs the command prompt window is opened before running the external app. This is something that I do not want to appear.
I've looked at the _exec and _spawn functions, but haven't had any luck at getting them to work properly.
Does anyone know of a way to run an external program without the command prompt window appearing?
